Description
Tang Sailfin Veliferum
is a popular, large-growing marine aquarium fish recognized for its dramatic, sail-like dorsal and anal fins. Can be aggressive toward other tangs, particularly other sailfin or similar-shaped surgeonfish. Features a sharp, retractable scalpel-like spine at the base of the tail used for defense and displays. When alarmed or threatened, they expand their large fins to look much larger. Peaceful with community fish such as clownfish, gobies, wrasses, and blennies
