PJS Work for fish program offers you the hobbyist the opportunity to spend time in our facility doing what you love looking at, taking care of, cleaning, feeding, testing and learning on a different level. While earning instore credit that can be used immediately to take your new wet pet, food, meds or whatever home at the end of the day.
Are you passionate about aquariums? Want to learn how to care for fish the right way — while earning credit to build your own dream tank? The PJS Work for Fish Program is your chance to get hands-on experience at our full-scale aquarium facility.
Whether you're a student, hobbyist, or future marine biologist, this program offers a fun, educational way to get involved with aquatic life — no prior experience needed!
What You’ll Do:
- Help with daily fish care and tank maintenance
- Learn how to monitor water quality, feeding routines, and species compatibility
- Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the aquarium environment
- Get mentorship from the PJS team and ask all your fish-keeping questions
For every shift you complete, you’ll earn store credit that you can use toward purchasing your own fish and supplies. Not only will you be rewarded for your time — you’ll leave better equipped to care for your new aquatic friends!
