Identification

Reactions and movements are inhibited.
Grows in dorsal muscles impairing movement.
Lesions on the skin start to pronounce.
The lesions in the skin erupt from the inside out.
Often misdiagnosed as tuberculosis bacteria, outcome is same, no cure.
Aggressively attacks the internal organs in the blood stream.

Grows internally, then erupts from the inside out and spreads spores

Causes

Always a secondary infection, need to find the root cause.
Poor water Quality and poor husbandry.
The fish are at risk from starvation, malnutrition, improper diet, incomplete diet, cold, stress from transport, unsanitary condition in the tank that burden their processes.

Treatments

Preventative is the only course, there is no treatment.
Removal of dead animals, uneaten food and waste is the method of control.
