Description
Barb Cherry
are a peaceful and hearty community schooling fish from Sri Lanka, best kept in groups of 6 or more in a 20 gallon or larger tank. Male cherry barbs turn a vibrant bright red. Try to avoid keeping more males than females to keep males from aggression and chasing each other (e.g., 2–3 females per male). Dark substrate, live plants and Driftwood with a low flow help them feel secure and help the males red colors to pop!
