Description

Catfish Banjo

The Banjo Catfish (Bunocephalus coracoideus) is a peaceful freshwater species known for its flat, leaf-like body and excellent camouflaging ability. Native to slow-moving rivers in South America, this catfish spends most of its time buried in the substrate or resting on the bottom.

This species thrives in tanks with sandy substrates, gentle water flow, and plenty of hiding spots. Feed it a diet of sinking pellets, live food, and frozen treats. Its peaceful nature allows it to coexist with other non-aggressive tank mates in calm aquariums.
