| Compatibility | Schooling Nano and Community Fish: Neon Tetras, Rummy-Nose Tetras, Ember Tetras, Harlequin Rasboras, and Cherry Barbs swim in the middle-to-top water levels and won't bother a bottom-dwelling pleco or dwarf cichlids. Guppies, Platies, Mollies, Swordtails, and Endler’s Livebearers are peaceful and fit well into community tanks. Bottom Dwellers & Scavengers: Corydoras Catfish (like Pepper Corydoras) and Otocinclus Catfish hang out near the substrate without competing aggressively for the same caves or territory. Peaceful Gouramis: Pearl Gouramis or Dwarf Gouramis add color and activity to the upper tank regions. Invertebrates: Amano Shrimp, Cherry Shrimp, and Nerite Snails clean up algae and leftover food safely alongside an albino bristlenose. |
| Avoid Housing With | aggressive fin-nippers that might damage their fins like Tiger barbs, serpae tetras, or aggressive tetras Aggressive Cichlids: Avoid large or territorial cichlids (like Oscars, Green Terrors, or Flowerhorns) that can bully or stress the pleco. Goldfish: They have vastly different temperature needs and produce excessive waste. Crayfish and Crabs: These can pinch, injure, or predate upon a slow-moving bottom-dweller. Other Territorial Plecos or Male Bristlenoses: Keeping multiple male bristlenose plecos in a small tank can lead to territorial fights over caves unless you have a large tank (55+ gallons) with multiple hiding spots. |

Description
Pleco Albino Bushy Nose
Albino Bushy Nose Pleco is a popular, beginner-friendly freshwater aquarium fish known for its bright yellow-to-cream albino coloration, red/pink eyes, and unique facial bristles growing from 4 to 5 inches and living up to 15 yrs. They require a tank of at least 3o gallons or larger with driftwood for rasping on it for cellulose and digestion, as well as clean and well-aerated water and add smooth rocks and caves to help them feel secure. They do eat algae from the glass and rocks but supplement that with blanched veggies like zucchini, green beans, and spinach. Also provide sinking algae wafers and occasional protein-rich pellets or frozen bloodworms
