Description

Pleco Clown L103

Clown pleco L103 (Panaqolus maccus) is a small, striped dwarf catfish popular in freshwater aquariums.  They are peaceful, small bottom-dwellers (reaching only 3.5 to 4 inches) that fit well into most community aquariums of 20 gallons or larger.), meaning driftwood is mandatory for their digestive system. Supplement their diet with algae wafer, spirulina, and blanched vegetables like zucchini, cucumber, or green beans. Provide plenty of caves, rock crevices, and real driftwood to use as hiding spots. They are safe with live plants, though they may occasionally nibble on soft leaves. Compatible with most peaceful community fish (such as tetra, rasbora, and corydora). Avoid housing them with aggressive or large predatory fish, or territorial African cichlids. For more interesting facts and information see our article HERE.
