Description
Blenny Starry
Salarias ramosus), also known as the snowflake blenny, is a hardy, algae-grazing marine fish popular for its speckled appearance and active personality in reef aquariums. Generally peaceful and reef-safe with corals and most invertebrates, though they can be semi-aggressive or territorial toward other blennies or fish with a similar body shape. A tight-fitting lid is recommended because they are known jumpers. They feed continuously throughout the day on microalgae, biofilm, and filamentous nuisance algae. They should not rely on tank film alone. Supplement their diet with approved items like nori (dried seaweed), spirulina flakes, algae wafers, and occasional frozen herbivore preparations
