Description
PJS Tropical Saltwater Filefish Strapweed Aptasia Eating
commonly known as the strap-weed filefish, is a small marine fish belonging to the family Monacanthidae. Found in the Indo-West Pacific region, including the Indian Ocean, South China Sea, southern Japan, and Papua New Guinea. Features a chameleon-like ability to change color and patterns based on its mood and surroundings. Usually yellowish to brown, covered with numerous small brown-to-blackish spots and irregular blotches. It often features a concave snout profile and a rounded caudal fin.
