Description
Worm Coco Pink Saltwater Reef Invertebrate
Protula bispiralis, also known as the Hard Tube Feather Duster, is a premium saltwater invertebrate prized by marine aquarists for its striking, double-spiral feathery crown. Unlike common feather dusters that build soft tubes out of mud or sand, the coco worm secretes calcium carbonate to create a rigid, protective calcareous tube. When startled, it instantly retracts its delicate pink-and-white plumes completely inside this shell.
Expert Only / Advanced. They require immaculate water quality and are highly sensitive to sudden changes or copper-based medications. They do not photosynthesize; they rely on moderate-to-strong water currents to deliver organic matter, liquid phytoplankton, and marine snow. You can place them on the bottom of the tank, either gently buried in the sand or nestled securely within a crevice in your aquarium rockwork, ensuring the crown opening faces outward
